Warranty & Gurantee terms & Conditions

Like New Appliances refurbished & Graded appliances standard warranty which will be issued to you on delivery is for 120 days (refurbished) to 180 days (graded) from the delivery date this includes washing machines, condenser dryers, vented dryers, heat pump dryers, dishwashers, electric cookers, gas cookers. Extended warranties are available on request for a small monthly fee extend to 180 days refurbished for just £25.

Graded items/ Ex display washing machines, condenser dryers, heat pump dryers, dishwashers, electric cookers and gas cookers may sometimes come with a manufacturers warranty (Excluding Beko brands) in addition to your rights under the Sales of Goods Act. In some cases with graded unused new you'll receive a 1 year warranty covering all parts and labour, or in some instances, it may be extended to 2, 5 or even a whopping 10 years by the manufacturer. You may need to register to qualify for these promotions – please check with one of our team. But all appliances supplied by ourselves come with a minimum standard 120 days refurbished and 180 days graded warranty and you can see your appliance works fully before purchasing with our free installation service this applies to all refurbished washing machines, dishwashers, condenser dryers, heat pump dryers, vented dryers and cookers 120 days refurbished and 180 days for Ex - Display, Graded New or 28 day return graded washing machines, vented dryers, heat pump condenser dryers, standard condenser dryers and electric cookers / gas cookers.

Like New Appliances always follow The Consumer Contracts Regulations which gives you a cancellation period that starts the moment you place your order and ends 14 days from the day you receive your goods.

You then have a further 14 days from the date you notify Like New Appliances that you'd like to cancel your order to return the goods to us at your own cost. Goods must be returned in the same condition as delivered free from cosmetic or mechanical damage other than those identified on sale and delivery. Mechanical failure through no fault of the customer will be accepted on inspection of returned goods and result in a full refund.

Please also note that our warranties only cover domestic use; items that are being used in commercial properties will not be covered without an additional charge. Washing machines, dishwashers, tumble dryers and cookers are supplied for domestic use unless otherwise stated on the warranty, the customer must notify Like New Appliances of commercial use and pay the appropriate extra fees if agreed for commercial warranty cover.

Below is a copy of the warranty you will be supplied with to sign before delivery / installation of your washing machine, dishwasher, cooker or tumble dryer. The above terms and conditions of which will also be provided to you in writing on delivery.

Our 14 day rule policy guarantee (but we aim for 7 days), if the appliance is not repaired within 14 days from the report of the fault and a genuine fault has been established not caused by customer misuse we will exchange the product for a similar appliance but the colour may be different depending on current stock available.

Warranty provision will be free of charge and we will decide whether this will take the form of a repair or the replacement of the appliance. Please note that replaced parts pass into our ownership.

We are not obliged to provide a replacement which matches the other appliances in the household. The replacement will be from our current available product portfolio. The provision of services under warranty neither extends the term of the warranty nor sets in motion a new warranty period.

The warranty covers any fault which may have developed. There is an expectation that there will be reasonable wear and tear to the item, but if the use of the item seems to be excessive, or if the item has been purposely miss used, then an exchange / repair / refund may not be offered, or may incur additional charges. Our engineer will determine this.

Exclusions

The warranty does not cover:

Deliberate damage, accidental damage, cosmetic damage, dropping of item during transportation or installation to a new premises after our original delivery, over loading / misuse, damage, to door seals, mouldy door seals, blocked pumps, items between the drums i.e. bra wires coins hair grips etc.

If we find that your appliance is faulty due to customer misuse as above your warranty will be void. We may still be able to repair your appliance for a fee but a £25 call out charge will need to be paid if it is established your appliance issue is down to customer misuse.

The warranty period for spare parts fitted ends with the expiry of the warranty on the appliance as a whole.

Your 120 days warranty for refurbished appliances or 180 days for Ex Display / Graded appliances starts from the date of delivery. If you have opted for an extended warranty the dates will apply as per the terms agreed.

Installation by Like New Appliances is a free service, while we will take full care to install your appliance(s) we cannot take responsibility for any damage that may be caused while entering your premises and it will be down to yourself or house insurance to cover any damage caused, you have opted for this free installation service under these terms. It is your responsibility to make sure all electrical connections are safe and correctly fitted and plumbing is also correctly fitted and safe Like New Appliances take no responsibility for your fittings and fixtures when entering your home.
