Measuring for an integrated washer

The cabinet door is only the beginning of the fit check.

Choosing for a busy household, a first home or a replacement that cannot wait? Like New brings graded and refurbished options together, with delivery across the Midlands towns on our delivery map—not Leicester alone.

Integrated is a fit type—not a size guarantee

An integrated washing machine is designed to sit behind a fitted furniture door. A freestanding machine is not automatically an alternative inside the same housing. Check the appliance’s installation drawing and your cabinet before choosing a replacement.

Your fit checklist

Send useful photos

A photo of the opening, the existing hinge positions and the model label can help us identify questions before delivery. Do not disconnect or move an appliance unsafely just to take a picture. Exact compatibility needs checking against the replacement’s instructions.

Agree installation separately

Integrated installation is by arrangement and may involve an extra charge. Furniture-door changes, plumbing changes or other joinery are not automatically included. Agree what is being done, by whom and at what price before ordering.

Capacity still matters

Once fit is established, compare the wash capacity and the programmes you use most. Do not sacrifice a safe installation to gain a larger drum. Our washing-machine guide explains the next checks.
